Simi Dry Rose 2016

Alright, so I admitted that camping isn't really my thing. But when you take the right bottle of rose out into the shadow of Mt. Baker and enjoy all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, your idea of camping may change.  I took this particular bottle out on the boat with me during an overcast day, but the mountain was out in full force.

This rose was refreshing, light, and a hint dry. I was tasting red fruit notes like strawberry and raspberry. I didn't pair this particular rose with food, but I could imagine this pairing well with a fresh caught salmon or trout grilled over an open fire.
