Nathan Gray Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
All my life my idea of camping has been, well, closer to glamping. I've been lucky enough to enjoy the comforts that a cabin in Camano Island, WA can offer. So when my boyfriend told me we were going to be camping at Baker Lake, WA for 3 nights, I had no idea how to prepare. Obviously wine was the first thing on my list, but what else would we need? For my brainstorming and packing session I picked this Cabernet Sauvignon off the shelf.
What drew my eye to this bottle was that Seattle Magazine called this the best Washington Cabernet Sauvignon under $20. This cab is balanced, fruity and full with hints of chocolate (yum!). When I see it on the shelves, I'm quickly going to stock up on a few bottles to take over to dinner parties, give as housewarming presents, or other times you need a bottle that tastes like it's closer to $40.
