Globerati Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
I'm a dog person, but I've always been a large dog person since I grew up with Golden Retrievers. It took this little Dachshund named Belle to change my mind about small dogs. She's my boyfriend's roomate Sofia's dog and Belle is not an easy one to win over. In fact, I'm sure the only reason she obliged with these photos was the treats Sofia bribed her with. And yes, in case you're curious, that cork wine stopper is shaped like a Dachshund too.
This it's a very light-bodied Cab that can go with any dinner in my opinion, but would probably go best with a pasta or BBQ dish. Definitely not breaking your budget and although it's inexpensive, doesn't feel like you'll get the cheap wine hangover you'd expect. According to the site, I was supposed to taste "juicy black currant and earthy pepper spice." I can neither confirm nor deny that I tasted any of that.
