Kirkland Uncorked 2017
When it comes to events, one of my favorite summer pastimes is Kirkland Uncorked. For a reasonable price, you get 10+ tokens to try out a ton of different wines from participating wineries. The ticket sales benefit Homeward Pet Adoption Center, so you're drinking for a good cause! This year I convinced a group of my friends to all make the trek across the bridge from Seattle and enjoy the day.
After trying out a few, it was clear who our favorite of the event was: Due Anni from Patterson Cellars. Instead of wasting all our tokens on multiple tastings, we decided to buy a whole bottle and enjoy a larger pour. Due Anni is a healthy red blend, easy to drink, and 14.7% so some bang for your buck! So many flavors, that depending on how long you let this wine breathe, you're going to taste something different--berries & vanilla are the ones that came across for me.
